Cheerleading at CheerFactor

We strive to provide a unique, fun, and competitive experience through our cheerleading programs. Cheerleading offers a unique opportunity to learn stunting, jumps, dance and tumbling, and perform all skills in an action-packed 2 1/2 minute routine. Our sport is unique in that everyone plays a vital role on the team and no one sits on the bench! Athletes will experience new friendships and opportunities through travel, competitions, team bonding, practices, and more!

NOVICE TEAMS

Our Novice Cheer program is an 8-month season for athletes ages 3–6. The season begins in September and includes one one-hour practice per week. Athletes wear a prep uniform and perform at local competitions only, typically on one day of a two-day event. Season finale events may span two days, depending on the producer. Novice athletes receive score-based awards rather than competing head-to-head against other novice teams.

Registration opens in August, and no evaluations are required. This program is an ideal introduction to cheerleading, including tumbling, stunts, jumps, dance, and teamwork, all within a fun and supportive environment.

HALF YEAR PREP

Our Half Year Prep Cheer program runs from December through April and is designed for athletes ages 6+ who want to continue cheering without the full-year commitment. Practices are held 2 hours per week, with athletes placed on Mini, Youth, or Senior teams following evaluations in November.

Athletes wear a prep uniform and compete in the Prep divisions at local events, typically one day of a two-day competition. Season finales may be two days, depending on the event producer. Registration opens in October, with team practices beginning in December.

This program is the perfect way to build skills, stay active, and enjoy cheer in a fun, supportive team environment while keeping the commitment flexible.

FULL YEAR PREP

Our Full Year Prep Cheer program runs for 11 months and offers athletes ages 7–15 the full cheer experience with a lighter commitment than traditional full-year teams. Practices are held 3–4 hours per week, with evaluations in May and team practices beginning in June.

Athletes wear a prep uniform and compete in the Prep divisions at local competitions, typically one day of a two-day weekend. Season finale events may be two days, depending on the producer. Early bird registration opens in March, and evaluations are required for placement.

This program provides structured training, skill development, and team spirit, making it a great option for athletes who want to grow in cheer while keeping the balance manageable.

ELITE TEAMS

Our Elite Teams are designed for athletes ages 5+ ready to commit to the highest levels of cheerleading. This 11-month program requires 3–6 hours of training per week, with evaluations in May and team practices beginning in June. Early bird registration opens in March, and evaluations are required for placement.

Elite athletes train in a rigorous, supportive environment that builds advanced tumbling, stunting, performance skills, and lasting team bonds while preparing for the most prestigious stages in the sport.
