Classes For All Ages & Skill Levels

At CheerFactor, our Tumbling Classes give kids a safe and structured way to build skills step by step. From basic rolls and cartwheels to advanced flips and twists, our experienced coaches focus on proper technique, safety, and steady progress. Our goal is to help every child build not only tumbling skills, but also the confidence and coordination that last a lifetime.

Drop ins are welcome to all classes unless they are full in which drop ins will not be permitted.

Tumbling

Recreational Class Options

Ages 3-6

For ages 3–6. Focuses on balance, coordination, and introductory tumble skills. Participants will learn forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and round-offs. Note: backbends and bridges are not included at this early stage, keeping the progression age-appropriate.

Ages 6+

Level 1 emphasizes fundamentals. Skills taught include forward/back rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, kickovers, back/front walkovers, switch-leg walkovers, and valdez. This level is a building block for stronger tumbling technique.

Ages 6+

At Level 2, athletes develop more advanced skills like handsprings, round-off back handsprings, step-out back handsprings, and combination passes. To progress, participants should be able to perform a standing two-back-handspring pass. This level refines and expands tumbling capability.

Ages 6+

Level 3 introduces more complex moves such as standing tucks, round-off back handspring tucks, punch fronts, aerials, and combination passes. Advancement requires executing a specialty skill into a round-off back handspring tuck. Emphasis is on mastery and consistency of higher-level elements.

Ages 6+

Specialty classes are designed around singular skill focus: BHS (back handspring), tucks, layouts, beginner twisting, jump drills, and more. They’re perfect for athletes who want to hone a particular element with extra attention and repetition.
