History

2005- Christie Blushi started  Cheer Factor in March inside the Dana Barros Sports Complex in Mansfield, MA . The original mission of the gym was to be a tumbling and cheerleading class facility.

2006- Cheer Factor grew from 1 student to 200 in less than 6 months. As cheerleaders were learning new and exciting skills they wanted more than their town teams could offer. With more and more interest brewing CF decided to start its own All-Star program.

Try-outs were held in May of 2006 and four teams were created X-Factor (Sr. 4) Illusion (Sr. 3) Wonder (Jr. 1) Mystery (Youth 2) another team, Phenomenon (Jr. 2) was added mid season.

CF outgrew the Dana Barros facility and moved to the current location.

2007- CF began its second year adding another team to the ranks X-traordinary (Jr 4).  CF began winning multiple National championships. X-Factor stepped up into the world of level 5 and secured a USASF WORLDS BID in their first season as level 5.

2008- CF grew to a whopping 11 teams! Including a youth 4, Junior 5, Senior 2, and Youth 1. Both X-Factor and X-traordinary secured Worlds bids and CF was once again competing in Orlando with the very best!

2009- After some reworking and rethinking of the gyms original goals, CF downsized again to become more focused on the needs of the kids and reaped the benefits! In 2009-2010 CF filled their walls with over 22 Championship banners (more than the first 3 years combined). X-Factor again returned to Worlds (this time on a partial paid bid) and Façade and Phenomenon won Elite International Grand Championships (a competition online involving 4 cities).

2010- Christie partners up with long-time CF coach Erika McLaughlin to help grow the CF family the right way! Now with 6 full-year teams, a Mini/Tiny and International program…. CF is looking forward to an amazing Future!
